Collection description
This collection contains various artifacts that have been collected over the past century and a half by the Sisters of the Holy Family. The majority of the collection consists of relics, textiles, and souvenirs collected by individual sisters. Most notably there is a traditional habit once worn by Sister Dolores (one of the founding members). There is also a piece of wood that belonged to one of the churches that was built by Father Damien in the leper colonies on the Island of Molokai, HI. This collection also contains separated out materials from other Collections. All artifacts are cataloged at the item level and tagged with their unique identification number.
