Series discription
This series includes several different disability programs that the Sisters of the Holy Family were involved in. These programs include California School of the Blind, Berkeley School of the Blind and the Helpers of the Holy Innocents. The Helpers of the Holy Innocents was later renamed the Helpers of the Mentally Retarded and then was renamed again to Helpers Community in 2015. There is also information about Special Religious Education Division (SPRED). The series contains histories, articles, newsletters, lesson plans and photographs. The photographs include first communions, classes, outings, and holidays.
