PPM/FAC. Faculty Papers

 Record Group Term
Identifier: PPM/FAC
Faculty papers consist of personal papers and manuscripts created by faculty members during their time at Santa Clara University. In the early years of the college many of the faculty were Jesuits who also served in various administrative capacities, and moved in between institutions located along the West Coast (at the University of San Francisco, for example). Although Jesuits formed the highest concentration of faculty in the early years after the founding of Santa Clara College, it has always included lay faculty and staff. Faculty papers reflect some aspects of the personal lives of individuals but tend to primarily focus on teaching and research.
