This series documents the history of the Men’s and Women’s Soccer Programs at Santa Clara University, which became an intercollegiate sport at the university during the 1975-1976 season. Information pertaining to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Men’s and Women’s Soccer Championship, which the university’s soccer teams participated in for several years between the late 1980s and early 1990s, is closely tracked. The records consist of newspaper clippings, media guides, rosters of players and coaching staff, score cards and season schedules. The media guides are publications used by local and national media to track the teams, and include historical records, photographs, player profiles, season previews and team statistics.
