This series documents Lawrence Desmond’s contact with those who had access to information on Fr. Bernard Hubbard. The bulk of this series consists of letters to and from Desmond, photographs autographed by Hubbard to Desmond, and Desmond’s materials related to his hunt for giant salamanders with Hubbard, such as maps and letters to the crew providing tips and warnings. The series also contains Desmond’s notebook with notes pertaining to accessing information about Hubbard, whether it be from archives or word of mouth, and a short remembrance of Hubbard written by Desmond.
