This box contains Fr. Rewak's 1970 dissertation "The shadow and the butterfly: James Agee's treatment of death," a thesis submitted to the faculty of the Graduate School of the University of Minnesota; one copy of James Hitcock's books "The Pope and the Jesuits," (New York: The National Committee of Catholic Laymen, 1984), and a review of said title which appeared in the November 1984 issue (Volume 8, Number 1) of Fellowship of Catholic Scholars Newsletter; and a copy of the 35th anniversary edition of "To kill a mockingbird" (New York: HarperCollins, 1995), inscribed to Fr. Rewak by Harper Lee and accompanied by a copy of the National Catholic Reporter article "The graciousness of author Harper Lee" by Colman McArthy (April 11, 2015). While at Spring Hill College, Fr. Rewak awarded Ms. Lee with an honorary degree in 1997.
