Provenance

Head of Archives & Special Collections, Nadia Nasr collected the bulk of these materials from Marge Webb and Francis Markey's home in Santa Cruz during a site visit with Larry Donatoni (SCU Development) on July 20, 2023. Specifically, Larry delivered the flag, handkerchiefs, and wool gloves the following week. Marge Webb, executor of Fr. Markey's trusts after his passing, died on June 16, 2022, and this site visit was prompted by the finalization of the Webb/Markey estate, in preparation for selling the home.
