Biography
Bernard J. Stanley was a newphew of Bernard R. Hubbard, S.J. who accompanied Hubbard on his expedition to King Island in 1937-1938. Stanley served in Alaska during World War II. He assisted with his uncle's lecture tours and Hubbard Educational Labs after the war. He died in Mexico.

From the Series:
This series documents the photographs that Fr. Hubbard took in Alaska through his various expeditions there. The collection consists both of black and white photographs as well as colored photographs. The photographs depict various individuals that Fr. Hubbard encountered, geographic formations, and the daily life of various Inuit peoples. Prints and negatives are in black and white unless otherwise noted.
